Real World D.C.

After this many seasons of The Real World, I've found that my taste for it has wavered a bit.

That was, however, before I found the Anti-Real World DC blog.  The owner/creator of the blog lives across the street from the newest cast of this MTV reality series, and needless to say, he's not thrilled with the idea of having the 8 cast members this close to him in Dupont Circle.

The blog has followed the progression of the new season since before it was publicly announced by MTV, and now that the cast has moved in (they'll be there through mid-November), it's guaranteed to be an interesting summer.

You can follow all of the antics through the ARWDC blog, or any of the other methods of following the cast around the city (Real World DC Watch, on Twitter @RealWorldDCNEWZ, Bulletin Boards - VEVMO).  I'm sure there are plenty more, but I can't spend any more time on this then I already have.

After the train wreck that has been The Real World: Cancun already, I don't think I'll be able to handle another season on TV.  However, this behind-the-scenes look at the cast in DC has my interest...

If you blog it, will they come?

I received this shirt from Jarrod after his recent trip to San Francisco, which is just a fun shirt.  It does, however, lead me to ponder this thought:

Best Blog?

OK, so it's completely self-serving, but I thought I'd give it a try.

I've been nominated for the 2008 Blogger's Choice Awards for Best Blog About Blogging.  Odd, but somehow fitting.

If you like my blog, or if you even find it slightly entertaining, feel free to cast a vote in my direction.  I don't think I have a chance in hell of winning against other blogs out there, but it's fun to get nominated.  Granted, there aren't any requirements to getting nominated, but it's exciting to say anyway.

The awards are going to be announced in late 2008 (date and time TBD).  Who knows what could happen in an election year?!?  Anything is possible!!!
